A modern interpretation of Korean fermentation culture. Developed with Berlin cocktail bar Mr. Susan, Haru Soju Jang integrates gochujang, Korea’s iconic fermented chili paste, into a refined rice spirit. At its core is gochujang handcrafted by a master artisan in Sunchang, the region most renowned for its gochujang tradition. Rather than emphasizing heat, the fermentation reveals a mild smoky warmth and aromatic depth. Maesil (green plum) from Gwangyang and jocheong (rice honey) from Changpyeong add gentle acidity and subtle sweetness, creating balance and structure within the spirit.

- Jang Tonic
+ 50ml Haru Soju Jang
+ Dry Tonic (e.g., Schweppes)
+ Slice of fresh ginger
Fill a highball glass with ice, add all ingredients, and stir gently
- Jang Martini
+ 80ml Haru Soju Jang
+ 25ml Dry Vermouth
+ Garnish with a small orange disc
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass, then strain into a cocktail glass
